The
MOPS Ministry wants to be available to every mother of
preschoolers so if money is an issue, we would like to
help you. There are two separate fees to be collected
– one goes towards running the meetings, and the other
goes directly to MOPS International. If you need help
with any of these fees, just talk to your table hostess
or e-mail our Finance
Leader directly.
We
do have some costs involved in running the meetings—decorations, refreshments, etc. We ask those who can
afford it to give what they can to help with these
expenses. If you have any questions, you can e-mail the Finance
Leader directly. The meeting fee is $3 per meeting. There are two
payment options to cover the meeting fees (payments will
be prorated for those joining later in the year):
1)
Pay at the first meeting in September for the entire
year – $62
2)
Pay at the first meeting in September for the fall
semester – $32
Pay
at the first meeting in January for the spring semester
– $30
Registration
in the MOPS
to Mom Connection
(a requirement) is only $20 a year and includes many
wonderful benefits that we know you will enjoy. Click
the above link to see more details. Again, if money is
tight, please let us know and we can work something out
here also.
Child
Care is currently no additional cost; just make sure we
know you are coming so we can plan accordingly. Click
here to notify the Child Care
Coordinator
of the number of children that will be attending.
I
have a 10 year old that I home school - can I bring him
too?
Yes!
Children three years old through fifth grade can be
enrolled in the Awanas program while you attend the
evening MOPS meeting. There will also be nursery available to
children two and under. The nursery child care is free
of charge, and the Awanas program has a minimum cost for
a book and vest. If you would like more information on the Awanas
program, click here.
My
daughter was sick this morning, but I could really use a
break. Can I still come?
Sure
- just leave your daughter with someone else. We need to
be considerate of others here, and bringing a child that
is sick to MOPS only makes it so next week some
moms will have to miss work in order to take care of
sick children. |
