   Child Care

Our child care program provides care for children ages birth through kindergarten.  While mothers attend the MOPS meetings, the children are cared for in a loving, Christian environment. The children are divided into age groups and are involved in activities that provide social growth and spiritual enrichment. Games, stories, crafts, and play enhance their physical and creative development.

Children 0-2 will be cared for in nursery classes divided according to teacher-child ratio and developmental levels. Two to five year olds will participate in storytelling, crafts, music, snack time, outdoor and indoor free play.

Please help us provide a wonderful experience for your children by adhering to the following guidelines:

Make reservations for your children at least 48 hours in advance so that we can provide appropriate staffing for each classroom. Please click here to contact the Child Care Coordinator with any questions that you may have or to make your child care reservation.

Bring a change of clothes for your children (including socks) and at least three diapers if your child is not potty trained.

Label all items (including bottles and cups) with child's name.

  FAQ’s

The MOPS Ministry wants to be available to every mother of preschoolers so if money is an issue, we would like to help you. There are two separate fees to be collected – one goes towards running the meetings, and the other goes directly to MOPS International. If you need help with any of these fees, just talk to your table hostess or e-mail our Finance Leader directly.

We do have some costs involved in running the meetings—crafts, refreshments, etc. We ask those who can afford it to give what they can to help with these expenses. If you have any questions, you can e-mail the Finance Leader directly. The meeting fee is $3 per meeting, and the child care is included free of charge. There are two payment options to cover the meeting fees (payments will be prorated for those joining later in the year):

1)  Pay at the first meeting in September for the entire year – $62

2)  Pay at the first meeting in September for the fall semester – $32
Pay at the first meeting in January for the spring semester – $30

Registration in the MOPS to Mom Connection (a requirement) is only $20 a year and includes many wonderful benefits that we know you will enjoy. Click the above link to see more details. Again, if money is tight, please let us know and we can work something out here also.

Child Care is currently no additional cost; just make sure we know you are coming so we can plan accordingly. Click here to notify the Child Care Coordinator of the number of children that will be attending.

I have a 10 year old that I home school - can I bring him too?

No! We do not have staffing for children over the age of six (or old enough to be in 1st grade)

My daughter was sick this morning, but I could really use a break. Can I still come?

Sure - just leave your daughter with someone else. We need to be considerate of others here, and bringing a child that is sick to MOPS only makes it so next week twice as many moms will not be able to come because their kids are now sick.

Volunteers

Our MOPS program is directed by a group of volunteers called a "Steering Team". The team helps to keep things on track (steer) during the meetings and takes care of the business end of running an organization like this.

If you are interested in helping in one of the above areas or have any questions related to any of the above, please feel free to e-mail the contact above.
