Why should I come?
242 is a place where students who are doing life together meet and interact. Hopefully, you will find answers to those tough spiritual questions. If you are looking for a way to relate Christianity to your life without it getting shoved down your throat, you've found the right place. We want to encourage you with the Truth hopefully allowing you to discover more on your own.

What do you believe and teach?

What if I am not a full-time college student?
That is okay! Come check us out anyway. If you do not find your "fit" at 242, hopefully we can plug you in to a different ministry of Spring Baptist. 242 does reach many who are part-time students, graduates of college, or work full-time. You will find a plethera of different people each week.
Can you keep me informed about what's going on?

Who leads this thing and what does he know about college ministry?
Here's a little more info on Paul:
I made the decision to follow Christ at the age of seven in my parents' bedroom after Sunday night church and my life has never been the same since. God called me into full-time ministry nearly 10 years later at the age of 18 during my freshmen year in college.
I have served in ministry since then as a college ministry worship intern, a youth intern, a staff leader at a summer camp, a youth minister, and now a college minister.
I have been leading the college ministry here at Spring Baptist since August of 2005 and have loved every minute of it! God has given me a undeniable passion for college students and I pray that God can use me to make a difference here at Spring Baptist Church. Let's see what He going to do not only through my wife, Michelle, and I, but also through each one of you.
