Our Children's
Choirs meet for rehearsal on Sunday evenings from September to May from 4:45 to 5:45 p.m. in
D208-D216, and
we have classes for three-year-olds through fifth grade. The fundamentals of music
are taught
as well as hymns and a variety of choral music. Children
are given an opportunity to grow spiritually and musically as they gain an understanding
of the role of music in everyday life and joyful worship.
Children have several opportunities
to sing throughout the year, presenting a special musical in the fall
and spring, as well as singing for the State VBS Convention in the
spring and learning a musical during the week of Vacation Bible School.
Members and
nonmembers are invited to come and be a part of this ministry. Preschool
