Men's Overnight Retreat

March 24, 2023 to March 25, 2023
8:00pm – 2:00pm
March 24-25, 2023
Pineywoods Baptist Encampment
6272 US-287
Woodlake, TX 75865
All men are invited to attend this event and bring their sons. Pastor Mark Collins will be our guest speaker for the weekend (you will remember him as “George Washington” at the National Day of Prayer Breakfast last May). In addition to portraying George Washington and bringing to life what our forefathers were thinking when they fought the battle for independence and established our great nation, he has an amazing and touching testimony about the shooting at Sutherland Springs Baptist Church on November 5, 2017, which he will be sharing.
Our schedule for the one-night stay looks something like this (though it may change as we get closer and begin working out details).
Eat dinner on your own Friday evening and arrive at Pineywoods Camp by 8:00 p.m.
Get settled in your room and join us at the bonfire, which will include s’mores, singing (led by Caleb Walters), and Mark’s Devotional Part 1.
Saturday morning breakfast and Devotional Part 2.
Three Hours of Activities – You can choose from the following or do all three:
Gun Range – Bring any caliber gun rifle or pistol and your own ammunition.
Skeet Shooting – SBC will provide the clay targets.
Fishing – Bring your own fishing pole or rod and reel and tackle.
Lunch and Devotional Part 3.
Enjoy more activities after lunch as time allows then check out and head for home by 2:00 p.m.
Plan to attend an info meeting on Wednesday evening, March 8, in A100 at 6:00 p.m. for final details about the retreat.
