WHAT WE OFFER

KIDS

Our Kids Ministry offers fun, engaging classes for preschoolers, grade schoolers, and preteens, all designed to help them learn and grow in age-appropriate ways. Each Sunday at 10:30, kids gather in a safe, welcoming environment where they can build friendships and discover God’s truth in a way they can understand. It’s a place where every child is known, loved, and excited to come back each week.

STUDENTS

Our Student Ministry is designed for 7th–12th graders, creating a space where students can connect, grow, and be encouraged in their faith. They meet every Sunday at 10:30 in the Student Building for relevant teaching, real conversations, and a welcoming community. It’s a place where students can be themselves, build strong friendships, and take meaningful next steps in their journey.

ADULTS

Our Adult Ministries offers welcoming, meaningful groups designed to help you connect, grow in your faith, and build lasting friendships. Groups meet during both worship times, making it easy to find a place that fits your schedule. No matter your stage of life, there’s a place for you to belong and take your next step.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Learn more about who we are and what you can expect when you visit us!

WHAT DO I WEAR?

The truth is, you’ll find a little bit of everything here: golf shirts and slacks, jeans and tennis shoes, dresses, suits, etc. The fact is we don’t have a dress code – just try to be comfortable and modest.

WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE?

Our services begin with a time of uplifting praise and worship, with song lyrics displayed on large screens so everyone can easily join in. You’ll also hear a few brief announcements from the stage to keep you informed about upcoming events and opportunities to get involved. Each week, Dr. Mark Estep shares an encouraging and practical message from the Bible. The entire service lasts about one hour.

During the service, we receive an offering as part of our worship. Guests are always welcome to participate in giving if they wish, but please know there is absolutely no expectation—your presence with us is the greatest gift.

DO YOU HAVE PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS?

Yes. Our Children’s and Student Ministries are designed to provide a fun, engaging environment where kids and students can grow in their faith while building meaningful friendships with others.

Kid's Choir and Student Choir meet on Sundays at 5:00 PM, giving kids and students a great opportunity to develop their musical gifts. We also offer opportunities to connect during the week. On Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, children can participate in our AWANA program, where they enjoy games, scripture memory, and Bible-centered learning in a fun and encouraging environment. At the same time, students gather for Youth Night, a midweek service focused on worship, Bible teaching, and fellowship.

WHO ARE THE PASTORS?

Dr. Mark Estep is our senior pastor. Visit our staff page to see our full staff including our pastors.

HOW DO I JOIN SPRING BAPTIST?

At the end of each service, you’ll have the opportunity to let someone know if you’re interested in becoming a member of the church. One of our pastors will follow up with you, make introductions, and invite you to attend our Discover Spring class. After completing the class and receiving affirmation through a church vote, you will officially become a member of the church.

WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF SPRING BAPTIST?

In 1913, a group of charter members formed a church in what is now Old Town Spring. At that time, Spring, Texas was a small rural community centered around a railroad depot. As the Houston area expanded and suburbs began to grow rapidly during the 20th century, Spring Baptist Church grew alongside the community.

In 1953, the congregation moved to its current Spring Campus location. Over the years, additional buildings have been added to accommodate the growing church family. In 1994, the church began offering a Spanish-speaking service to better serve the community. In 2007, Spring Baptist Church became a multi-site church with the launch of the Klein Campus, located behind the Bridgestone subdivision on FM 2920.
